Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba has labelled is first season at Old Trafford as “good, but quite complicated”.
The 24 year old who moved from Juventus to Man. United last year in a world record fee of £89.3 million made 51 appearances for the Manchester club and helped them win the Europa and EFL cups, scoring nine times in all.
United finished six in the Premier League last season but was able to make England list for the Champions League in the coming season, thanks to their Europa Cup win. This may have informed Pogba’s believe that the team ultimately achieved their goals. He also thinks his form got better as the season progressed.
“My first season back here in Manchester was good, but quite complicated,” Pogba said to Sky Germany.
“I had to adapt to the English football. I didn’t really have a pre-season, so I had to jump straight in.
“But the more I trained the better it got. With the other players, I felt at ease from the first moment on.
“It’s true that the results weren’t as positive as we had wished, but we reached our goals. All in all, it was a good season for us.”
Pogba is currently with the French squad that will face Sweden and England.
