Chelsea’s Conte Longs For A Return To Italy



The Italian who is on the verge of winning the Premier League in his first year in England still wish to return home to the Serie A.

Conte, a multiple Serie A winner both as player and manager with Juventus and headed the Italian National team, has been in charge at Chelsea for about 12 month now stirring the team toward a possible double of Premier League and FA cup wins this season.

The Chelsea boss is constantly been linked with a move back to Italy with the two San Siro teams of Inter and AC Milan at the top of the list. Inter particularly wants Conte to lead the club as they work to revamp a team once giant in European football.

The 47 year old admitted his tempting instincts of returning home to any of the two teams mentioned above especially when there have been a Chinese take-over of both teams.

See Conte’s response when he was asked the question of going back home:

“Yes. My heart is always in Italy”. Conte told TV show Emigratis.

“Haven’t the new owners come in now?”. Conte also said when asked if any Italian team can meet his high wages.

Chelsea will player Arsenal in the FA Cup final and are four clear at the top of the Premier League table with less than six matches to go.
