Contract talks between Romeru Lukaku and Everton have suffered a set back with the striker disagreeing with certain clauses in the proposed document, as per skysports.
The Player’s agent Mino Raiola last month reiterated Lukaku preference to stay at Everton as against more high profile move as he gradually expends the last two years in his present deal.
The Mersey side club are prepared to make the Belgium International the highest paid on their books with a deal of around £100,000 per week.
Lukaku is allegedly not satisfied with a £90 million release clause infused into the proposed deal by the club. His camp is rooting for a figure in the region of £70 million.
Reports claim that Chelsea are willing to take the player back to Stamford Bridge after selling him to Everton for £28 million in 2014.
He is currently the Premier League’s joint leading goal scorers alongside Harry Kane with 19 goals.
